Project Summary
ReBuild is an international capacity-building project in the field of vocational education and training (VET), fostering collaboration between EU countries (Italy, Austria, Poland) and non-Erasmus+ countries in Eastern Europe (Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia). The project aligns with the EU’s Green Deal and Digital Decade goals, addressing urgent challenges in the construction industry, such as climate resilience, the transition to a circular economy, and workforce development. The construction sector, as the second-largest industrial ecosystem in the EU, plays a crucial role in achieving the 2050 climate neutrality targets. ReBuild supports this transition by integrating sustainable and energy-efficient solutions into VET curricula.
The initiative aims to strengthen the capacity of VET providers, enhance training quality, and improve the responsiveness of the construction sector to green and digital transitions.

Project Summary
The construction sector is one of the largest EU industries (employing nearly 25 million people and thus critical for EU climate and energy goals. By integrating sustainable and digital construction methods (e.g. building renovation, energy-efficient design, BIM and data-driven management), REBUILD fosters a workforce ready for low-carbon, resilient rebuilding.
This course is structured around 4 specific training Modules:
EU regulations & norms. This module delves into European regulations and norms pertinent to the reconstruction industry. An overview of the standards currently set has been provided to the target countries.
Economic dimension / how to deal with EU calls and tenders. This segment provides participants with the basic knowledge needed to seize EU funding opportunities to receive financial support for their projects.
Re-building techniques. The module, linked to European standards, explores standard practices and techniques that can be adopted following disaster events for building reconstruction.
Digitisation in building & construction. This module explores the latest trends and technologies, focusing on Building Information Modeling (BIM). Participants will learn how to harness digital tools to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance project outcomes.

Video lessons and demonstrative tutorials
A self-assessment test
All training materials are made available in English, Georgian, Rumanian and Ukrainian languages.
